Day 29 Hair Challenge

Thanks for checking out my hair blog. This is my super easy updo with a hair band. I call it my "soft rolled updo with a hairband". I hope you like it!!

If your hair is coarse then I would definitely recommend using bobbi pins in each roll/twist to secure your hair. The coarser the hair, the heavier the updo will be, and you don't want it pulling on your hair band.

I got this adorable hair band at Forever 21 for $4!! Super cute and cheap. They have tons of cute hair accessories for great prices. Here my hair is curled. If you don't know how to achieve these waves  click here for wave tutorial.

 Take a section 1-2 inches underneath your hair band and slightly twist section and tuck in from the top and underneath the band.

Here it shows the hair tucked and the loose end coming out.

Then take your hair from the first section and add it to your next section. Continue until you get to the back of your head.

Continuing on to the back.

Work sections until you get to the middle of the back.

Continue on the other side.

 Continuing on to the other side.

When you get to the middle, roll hair with your fingers and tuck into the rest of the hair.

Secure with bobbi pins.
