Hooray for Haircuts!
So today I finally got my haircut. Believe it or not, it's near impossible for us stylists to find time to get our own hair done. The second I'm off work, I just want to rush home to my beautiful daughter. I have Kameron Hinski cut my hair from Salon Stylush. I've worked with her for over 8 years and trust her 100%. She and I both worked over at Toni & Guy together, where we started our careers. She also is the stylist I recommend to all my clients if I'm unable to get them in. Since we had the same training, we speak the same language.
Today we decided to go for a medium length cut. My hair reaches a few inches past my collar bone. Mid lengths are very hot this spring, and I figured with all the heat I've been applying to my ends these past few weeks with my challenge, I could use the break. Now, I know its not overly drastic, but a few inches is a subtle enough change to make it look noticeably different.

I do want to touch on that it is very important to get your hair trimmed on a regular basis. I get my ends trimmed at least every 6-8 weeks. Us girls with long hair can go a little bit longer than women who have a shorter do, but try not to go over 12 weeks or your hair might become damaged and shapeless. For short hair, I definitely recommend 4-6 weeks.
Kameron Hinski styled my hair with a large 1 1/2 barrel iron and wrapped my hair around the barrel. My hair looks and feels amazing after this haircut! Thank you Kameron!! <3
