Chocolate Hair Shake
My name is Jenny, and I'm a Chocoholic. Yup, I am addicted to Chocolate! I love it! I am one of those people that I have to have a sweet right after lunch or dinner and I usually go straight for the chocolate. Well, these days I'm trying to lose pregnancy weight. I'm 8 weeks post partum and I still have 16 pounds to go. For some reason it is taking FOREVER and a day to shed. Since I'm trying to kick my pregnancy weight gains butt, I decided I can't go grab just any chocolate or sweets. I'm in need of some healthy alternatives.
Awhile ago I came across the vegan soft serve recipe on pinterest. Basically its frozen bananas and cacao powder blended. I started to experiment with a few staple foods that I always have readily available in my food pantry to make this vegan soft serve have more kick. I don't know about you, but I'm the nerd that researches on what foods do what for my body. I just love when I'm eating something healthy and I know that its doing some good for my body. - 1c Almond Milk
- 2 cut up frozen bananas (cut in 1-2inch pieces)
- 2tbsp Cacao Powder
- 1tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1scoop Vega Smoothie Mix
- 1tbsp almond butter
- 1tsp Agave
Put all your ingredients in a blender and blend away. Serves 2
