HYDRATE YOUR HAIR FOR SUMMER
Lets talk about hydrating your hair this summer! Your hair is like your skin, it can get dry from Summer time UV rays, harmful chemicals such as chlorine or over usage of heat application. But friends, there is hope... you can simple use a few products & use my fave tip to avoid it all together.
UV RAYS
Like I mentioned your hair is like your skin, you have to protect it from harmful UV rays. Did you know there are products out there to help protect your hair just like sunscreen does on your hair? Its true, and when you are spending a lot of time outside it is important to protect the integrity of your hair as well as any color services you may have had. There are a lot of products out there but to make it easy I'm going to suggest three! You can use Shine spray by AIIR to not only lightly moisturize & add shine it will protect it as well. Shine Spray is also perfect for all types but it is so lite that I suggest my fine haired friends to use it as it wont weigh down those summer tresses. If you have hair that is a bit more thick and frizzy prone use Smoothing Cream by AIIR and I always suggest spray a leave in conditioner called Sapphire Leave in by AIIR professional and not only will it keep those locks look super fresh, it has UV protectant in it to act as a sunscreen. And the sapphire is the stone of inner wisdom, so its a win/win all around.
POOL HAIR
If you have had a greenish tint in summer there is a good chance that you jumped in the pool a time or two without knowing my fave tip. Its simple, you get it wet prior to jumping in. For added protection use the Sapphire Leave in conditioner too! See what happens is that when you hair is wet prior to jumping in, your hair wont soak up as much chlorine water as it is already wet. Its that simple!
