Makeup Monday....shades of summer / by Jenny Strebe

To go off of my last weeks Makeup Monday where I interviewed the fabulous Traci Barret, I wanted to share with you my favorite lip shades including some orange red, coral, and pink. And guess what, they are from MAC.  Of course right?  hehe

OK, so here are the shades I'm going to talk about. I did dark to lite. Below I explained what they are in order. For some reason they all look very similar but the shades in person are completely different except for "Lady Danger" & "So Chaud" are similar.

So chaud......This is a great one for going out. Its a matte red orange, has more orange pigment in it then Lady danger. Almost as dangerous. So chaud...is soooo good! This lip shade was lined with "Lasting Sensation" by MAC

Lady Danger....I really think the name says it all. This is my go to for summer going out lips. It the perfect  matte shade of red with hint of orange. I lined this color with "Lasting Sensation" by MAC. Dangerously good.

Vegas Volt....This is a super fun coral shade. In my opinion its perfect for day and night. Or it would be perfect for Vegas. ;) This shade is lined with "Lasting Sensation" by MAC

Costa Chic.....this is a staple coral for everyday. Its bright but not to bright for the day. Feeling chic today? Go get some Costa Chic. But if you are feeling a bit more peachy go ahead and add a pink shade with it. This lip shade is lined with...you guessed it "Lasting Sensation"by MAC.

Snob.....Yup, that's right. I love this matte light pink snobby color. I usually don't line it but add a tiny bit of lip glass to add a bit of shine. Don't be snobby now, go get you some.  In the picture above on my arm I lined it with "In Synch" by MAC

Myth....This is my go to nude. It's not just a myth, its the real thing. Here I lined it with "Boldly Bare" by MAC

Underage....my go to lip gloss. Underage just has a hint of color and gives my lips a beautiful shine. Makes me feel so young again.

Burts bee....Yup, I use a product other than MAC. I love bright shades but I'm a natural mama when it comes to everything else. Can't go wrong with burts bees lip balms.

There you have it, my summer lip shades must! And remember, use lots of lip balm to keep your lips kissable this summer. xo
