While all eyes were on the Met Gala dresses (or lack of them, we're looking at you Kim and JLo) ours were definitely looking up at the new hair and beauty looks that are sure to make a huge impact on upcoming trends.

So you can imagine our surprise and major excitement when Queen Bey stepped onto the red carpet looking fierce with a very familiar hairstyle we posted just last month on The Confessions of a Hairstylist. The Pretty Party Pony Tail is the perfect high yet chic pony updo and we know you will love it too.

This one was styled by my talented co-worker, Walker of Bespoke Salon who kindly put this look together when my hand was broken. Not only is she incredibly gifted when it comes to hair but she is also one of the coolest chicks I have ever met. When the Queen wears one of your hairstyles it's probably time we all make like Beyonce fans and `bow down'.
